Shivaratri Puja Seminar, Pune, 2003
At last we have come to the conclusion of the seven day – March 14th to 21st – seminar, hosting two great pujas, Shiva Puja in Pune and Birthday Puja in Delhi, and two great festivals in between, Muharram and Holi.
 The most striking thing was the increase in the numbers this year. It has surpassed all previous collective events, even the Ganapatipule international seminar, where we had a maximum of ten thousand.
At Shivaratri Puja attendance was to the tune of more than seven thousand, while at Birthday Puja there was an unprecedented attendance of maybe more than thirteen thousand. The main pendal had to be opened up, with the excess accommodated outside. It was a great event, a great puja, a great experience.
At Shivaratri Puja, Shri Mataji spoke about our innate anger and power of forgiveness. Both go hand in hand. She spoke about the two powers of Shri Sadashiva – the power of destruction, on one hand, while His power of forgiveness is the creation phase.
So She advised all of us to adopt the power of forgiveness and shun anger, which ultimately helps accumulate the power of destruction, while forgiveness negates it.
At Birthday Puja we were blessed with more blessings than ever before. She assured us that, with Her blessings, we now are capable of our journey ahead to spread Sahaja Yoga and we must strive harder to offer at Her Holy Lotus Feet at least one hundred Self Realizations per year. She desired that we should be double in number in our attendance at the coming Birthday Puja next year.
