After a trip of ten days last year by Rita and Ulla, where they were able to
give two programs and talk to several people, Rita decided to go back this year
for a longer period. She got in contact with people who were interested in Sahaj,
and especially one girl has done a lot to make things easier for us. She has
taken contact with people to start programs and spread information. She put adds
on the internet and in the paper, linked the Sahaj-website to several pages so
people will get interested. She has been postering and distributing leaflets
etc.
 We, Rita and Trees Hil, got here on the 1st of September and were met by
this young girl and some friends of hers who helped us in numerous ways. They
found
us a place to stay and a place to have programs. We started the programs on
the 4th of September and have had them every Monday and Thursday at 7 pm. We
started
out with 4 people and the last time there were 15. They are all open and curious,
really seeking.
Actually, practically everybody we have met, is very open and
down to earth and they really want to know and listen and ask questions. That
does not only
give
them an opportunity to learn, but us as well.
As of yesterday we started programs
during lunch at Town Hall. A short introduction and meditation. 14 persons
joined us and were very eager to know. They asked
for a session of six programs at noon on Wednesdays. It was really nice to
be there and the vibrations were good. We are looking forward to go there again
next week.
 The person who rents out the rooms to us is a university teacher.
She is also very interested and has asked us to have an introduction for her
family and
colleagues next Tuesday. Her partner is a famous songwriter here in Iceland
and everybody
knows him. That gives us an opportunity to meet all kinds of people (and give
them Self Realization) like a well known singer by the name of Geir Olafson.
He gave us tickets to one of his concerts.
We are still in contact with other
people too, to eventually maybe have programs at other places too. But that
is not the only thing we do. We are in a beautiful country with several astonishing
sites.
You can really see Mother Earth in her amazing diversity and beauty.
Lava covered fields which make you feel like walking on the moon, canyons
with beautiful
rock formations and waterfalls, like Gullfoss. Snowy mountains with the damp
of natural
hot springs in front.
A Geysir, which is a hot spring that is shooting up steam
every now and then. Just amazing. We have been watching whales, swimming
in a natural pool filled with hot spring water mixed with seawater (the Blue
Lagoon).
The beauty is difficult to express in words.
Just wonderful.

Nandini is coming
on the 8th of October and staying until the 21st of November, and Rita will
stay
until the 28th of November. She will return sometime in the beginning of next
year though.
