Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As many may be aware Southern California has been experiencing quite extensive
bushfires for the last week or so. Due to this our original Puja site at Lake
Piru is presently occupied by around 1000 firefighters and hence we have changed
the Puja location.
With Shri Mataji's Blessings the Puja will now be held at the Holiday Inn Hotel
at Ventura Beach. Within the next couple of days all the relevant information
concerning the venue will be posted on the Diwali information
site.
Transportation to the site will be charged at 15$ per person
with children under 12 riding free and children 12-18 at $7. People arriving
on the Thursday night will be able to stay directly at the Puja venue for an
extra charge of around $25.
We would request all visiting yogis who need transport to enter their arrival
and departure details onto the website - BY COUNTRY or CENTRE, not individually.
Please do this by Monday, if not earlier as this will help us to better arrange
your welcome and your stay. If other American centres could also give a rough
estimate of expected numbers, this would also be very helpful.
